What is the process of generating e-way bill for Goods Return?

Is it different from that of Outward Supply?

Ask the customer to generate E-Way bill with Purchase Return remarks against delivery challan. After that book the same and generate Credit note and share it to the customer for debit note purpose

For purchase return, debit note should be raised with eway bill.

Yes, i agree no debit option is there on eway bill.
You can selected outward supply, select documents type others and give documents no. Of debit note.
Experts can give their views....
