e way bill for good lying with transporter

for goods rejected by customers you need to antyway issue credit note. Generate E-way bill based on such credit note only. you cannot issue E-way bill based on the original invoice because From, To will be different in the invoice.

Alternatively, create one delivery challan for movement from the transporter palce to your place and generate E-way bill based on the delviery challan.

Yes, e-way bill can be cancelled if either goods are not transported or are not transported as per the details furnished in the e-way bill. The e-way bill can be cancelled within 24 hours from the time of generation

Other wise you can extend validity 

If validity of the e-way bill expires, the goods are not supposed to be moved. However, under circumstance of ‘exceptional nature’, the generator of the e-way bill can generate another e-way bill, by entering the e-way bill number and part-B. Now, the system generates the new e-way bill with part-A information of previous e-way bill and new PartB information

AS TO YOUR QUERY THE EWAY BILL EXPIRE MEANS , YOU HAVE GENERATED ONLY THE "A" PART & TRANSPORTER HAS NOT GENERATED IT BY FILLING THE "B" PART,... IN THIS CASE THE EWAY WAS NEVER GENERATED, SO YOU CAN GENERATE A FRESH EWAY BILL.

IF IT IS BEING GENERATED ON FILLING BOTH "A" & "B" PART THEN , YOU HAVE TO CANCEL IT WITHIN 24 HR, OR CAN BE CANCEL BY RECEPIENT WITHIN 72 HRS

my goods with e waybill with both part A and part B generated and sent from bangalore to kolkata and has reached destination say kolkata, and the material is lying in transporter godown for some reason ...in the mean time e way bill has expired , now in this situation how to transfer the goods from the transporter godown to the customer godown in kolkata .
