E way bill

Details of E-Way Bills can be edited except vehicle number.
Vehicle Number is an optional field when generating e-Way Bill.

But, e-Way Bill without a vehicle number is not valid for movement of goods.

The e-way bill portal provides an option of updating vehicle number on the document.

This option can be used in the following cases:

Vehicle Number was not entered on generation of the e-Way Bill OR

The goods are shifted to another vehicle/conveyance during transit due to break down or transshipment.

This option can be used many times for an e-way bill.

Editing option is not there in E-Way bill.

 The goods were reached the destination in April, if some problem related to godown the goods not moved to warehouse. Now they shifitng the goods to their godown so they asking to us E way bill

 Distance Validity period of E Way Bill

1. Upto 100 km. One day 2.

For every 100 km. or part thereof thereafter One additional day

After the expiry of above E Way bill not valid 

AND

E Way Bill may be revise whithin 24 Hrs of Issued E Way Bill

Now i cant able to edit the way bill processed . 

if i make new e way bill any problem ?
