Dear All,
I would like to know that if authorised signatorty is not available at office then absense of him, Can I do the signature on the Form 27A.
If it is do so thn plz reply as earliest its really urgent.
Otherwise give me other alternate way to filed E-TDS return as on time (July 15, 2009).
Please give answer with approach.

Hi Deepak,
Yupp you can sign it if the company gives you the authrity to sign in absence of the former person.
Thank you for your valuable revert, but please present with approach of IT-Act or case law.

As per my opinion there is no requirement in INCOME TAX ACT, like any COMPANY OR FIRM OR INDL give any name of his authorised signatories to deptt. So there is no confusion regarding that . And even if you have any doubt then you can sign the return on behalf of your Authorsied Signatories by mentioninh on the return.............
