Its this practice across the industry..!! Second name may be prnounced when we already know the person .. , like our client.., or smbody below our position..!!!

I think, you should send your resume to the concerned HR department by using the words “The Manager, HR Department,………” it will give positive effect on your resume. Before sending resume to the company, you should read about the basic knowledge of the company i.e., histry, main business, and mention the same in your mail about your thinking about company.
