Hi everyone..

I want to know whether its a good practice to refer to the HR officers of a company by their first name while writing/replying to them via mail during the recruitment process... 

I qualified as a CA in Nov 11 and now applying to companies for job.. i'm reallyy confused about this... Please help..

Yes.., we usually pronounce HR's and even other professinals by their first name..!! like

"Hi Swati

Regarding my interview being conducted........................"

Its this practice across the industry..!! Second name may be prnounced when we already know the person .. , like our client.., or smbody below our position..!!!

I think, you should send your resume to the concerned HR department by using the words “The Manager, HR Department,………” it will give positive effect on your resume. Before sending resume to the company, you should read about the basic knowledge of the company i.e., histry, main business, and mention the same in your mail about your thinking about company. It will very much helpful. All the Best……
