Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies e-invoicing requirements for businesses with turnover over ₹10 crore. While B2C sales don't mandate e-invoices, the query focuses on purchase returns (debit notes) to registered suppliers. The consensus is that e-invoices are not required for debit notes on purchase returns. Instead, the supplier issues a credit note, which is reflected in the recipient's GSTR 2B.
