E-filing confusion got mail from income tax department

Hi, 

I work for a private firm. I wanted ITR-V for previous year so i messed up in the e-filing.so i got mail from income tax department for Non-Receipt of ITR V so please let me know what to do.

Hii Mr.Shivraj, as i understood from your query you mean to say that after filing ITR for P.Y. you didn't send the copy of ITR-V to the department within 120 days of filing return and so you got the message from department regarding non receipt of ITR-V by them. Sir, after filing return you have to send the ITR-V after signing to the CPC, Bengaluru for processing within 120 days or you can also e-verify you return by generating EVC through aadhar mode or net banking mode, if you e-verify your return you need not send the physical copy of ITR-V. If you neither e-verified nor send the physical copy of ITR-V within 120 days of filing return then your return shall be invalid and it will be deemed that you have not filed your return. So, you have to file your return again.

if you have received message "Non-Receipt of ITR V"

it means you have submitted ITR andSigned copy of ITR is not received  at CPC till date of message.
 
Send your signed copy of ITR to CPC, Bengaluru
