Thanks for your reply. Does e-filing also provides a chance to pay the balance tax?

So, if I have to pay advance tax (Sept, Dec, March) I must simply use link for e-payment & no detailed form has to be filled & ITR-V is

not needed?

But lateron  I must use link for e-filing to fill the relevant ITR form. It also allows to balance tax (e-payment link not needed?)

payment (if any) & request for refund (if any as per calculations at that time) & filling ITR-V?

PS: If advance tax has not been paid then only e-filing is needed to pay tax & penality interests (234A,B,C)?

For any Payment of Tax  = e Payment

For  filling of any Return =  e filling.
