how to get the refund in dvat as the new amendment says that no input credit can be carried forwrd and i have to get the refund of the excess vat credit

Whiule filing return you have to state yes in "refund claimed"
but i want to know the procedure for getting refund
For that you need to prepare all the sup docs like 2A, 2B alonwith returns etc and then talk to the officials at the department for issuing the refund order.
You have to claim refund in the 4th Qtr return for any financial year for which you want to claim refund.
You should take a note that for your convience you should refund for every year.
After that you have to fill a Form - 9 i.e., Refund Claim Form under the Tab -"Refund" after login to dealer. But department will have to revise their module for Refund Claim Form, so you dont need to fill Form -9 now... it will be filled later as per the notifications of DVAT Department.
But yu shud claim refund in 4th Qtr return.
