1) what is the due dates of filing return of Vat. Which form and challan is used, we summitted it through direct or by bank.

2) For filing vat return it is necessary to obtain Sales Tax no.?

Due dates of filing of vat return depends on state to state. So, let me know the state where u want to get it file return. Yes, for filing of vat return, it is necessary to obtain registration/vat no.

2	Gujarat	Due Date	22nd of following month
3	Chattisgarh	Due Date	10 th of following month
4	Indore	Due Date	10 th of following month

5	New Delhi	Due Date	25th of following month
