Doubt regarding attempts in PCC

Hello guys plz answer my query regarding attempts in PCC..

My first attempt is due in May2010 and i want to appear for group 2 in my this attempt and after passing group 2 in May2010 my group 1 exams will be due in Nov2010 but i dnt want to appear in that attempt but i want to appear in May2011 for my group1 exams..

so my query is that how many attempts will be counted if i will do exactly the same thing as i said above....

Hello...

According to my knowledge, only one attempt will be counted as you are giving exams for different groups for the first time...

Guest

For CA institute that will counted as each attempt when you fill the form for exam.

but for industry(for hiring purpose) they count from the first due whether you are sitting for exam or not.

THIS IS PRATIK, AS PER THE RULES & CONDUCTS OF ICAI ACT 1949, A STUDENT CAN APPEAR FOR MAXIMUM OF 5 ATTEMPTS IN THEIR FIRST REGISTRATION, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR APPEARING FOR 1 GROUP OR BOTH AT A TIME. IN YOUR CASE IF U DNT FILL D EXAM FORMS 4 GRUP 1 IN NOV 10, UR ATTEMPT WILL NOT COUNT (TAKING NOT), & UR TOTAL ATTEMPT IS 2. IF U CULDN'T GET SUCCEED IN UR FIRST 5 ATMPTS, U NID TO RE- REGISTER URSELF ( BUT I HOPE U GUYS NID NOT REQRD 2 RE-REGSTER).
