how much amt I can paid in cash as donation...?
is there any limit to cash payment of donation..? if yes then pls provide section

Cash donation upto Rs. 2000/- is allowed to be deducted u/s. 80G.
Under section 80G,
1. If cash donation is upto Rs. 2,000, whole amount is exempt u/s 80G.
2. If cash donation is more than Rs. 2,000, you wont get any deduction u/s 80G.

pls note that if I don't get deduction then also can I donate in cash form...if yes then is there any max limit
2) if I donate more than 2k in cash form then whole amt will be disallowed or up to 2k amt will be allowed and remaining amt will be disallowed..

1. No restrictions
2. whole amount shall be disallowed. you will not get any deduction.
3. You can also make cash donation u/s 80GGA for scientific research or rural development.
4. The limit of cash donation u/s 80GGA is Rs. 10,000. Functionality of section 80G and 80GGA is same. If you make donation in excess of Rs, 10,000 , whole amount shall be disallowed.

donation paid in cash in excess of 2 k Will be disallowed for 80G whereas for 80gga it's 10k
