If an NRI (say in America) wants to donate in India through an NGO in India,then whether he can get tax benefits in his country,if yes,what are the proceedures and various forms to be obtained for the same.Can anybody explain me in detail.

I guess it will depend on rules & regulations of his country or DTAA.
