Does my business comes under service tax
Hello Sir,
I have created a website which will be used by people all over the world including India. It is free to register but user will have to pay if they upgrade their account to pro services (where they will be getting extra features).
I will also be placing ads on the website which can be both from national or international vendor.
Does my business comes under service tax? If yes then could you please let me know the category and its code.

In the negative list regime your acyivity does not placed in the negative list and as such are taxable srevice.But your international activity seems to be an export of service if you receive payment in foreign convertale currency.I hope you must be aware of SSI exemption of Rs.10 lacs,it in plain words mean till your billing reaches ten lacs you are not required to pay Service tax.
