Your friend must stop worrying about the incident and continue her articleship with some other Chartered Accountant.

Your principal must be angry or annoyed on your friend but he should not have spoken in an abusive manner. Sometimes chartered accountants forget that articles are just trainees and not qualified Chartered accountants and they expect extremely professional service from them.

It is sad but true that articleship sometimes becomes a form of slavery.

It is good that your friend got rid of articleship with that CA. Also, she shud file a complaint with ICAI against him....specifying that the 'personal reasons' are the behaviour & abusive language of the CA.......ICAI shud take strict action against CAs who use abusive language in thier professional conduct.....every one knows CA is supposed to be a NOBLE profession.

i hope your frend file case against the ca at "atrocities against SC/st/obc" (if she is reserved caste one"; case for gender discrimination; exploitation  n attempt molestation under IPC; and and all those cases which can jail him. what a ca; doesn't respect a gal

Hi, this situation seems many CAs are encouraging students indirectly to take dummy articletraining. That CA should be punished if your friend is dare to file a complint with the Institute.  In past some of this incidents happend and that CAs were punished by ICAI.

hey..articles r not supposed to work for more den 35 hours in a week rite? the timings of my firm r from 10am-7pm..n we articles r also required to work till 7 pm though it is ok for us to begin work at 11am..so dat means we hav to work for min 48 hours in a week..n r paid only a Rs 1000 in our 1st yr..can some action be taken?
