If assessee has no other income throughout the year other than Dividend received from X Ltd.
of Rs.12,00,000

Since 200000 should be taxable under section 115BBDA,

Can the assessee claim basic exemption limit of 2,50,000 on this amt. or it is it still taxable @ 10%?

NO
the assessee can't claim basic exemption limit
it is taxable @ 10% u/s 115BBDA
taxable @ 10% assessee can not claim basic exemption
Section 115BBDA starts with the Words " notwithstanding anything contained in this act" which means this section overrules the entire act.

No slab etc shall be given and it will be Taxable @ 10%.
Thank you everyone🖒🖒😊
