Dividend income of a domestic company

Please clarify me the treatment of dividend income of a domestic company from another domestic company.........

The Dividend earned shall be exempt. As the Company distributing the Dividend to its shareholders has already paid the Dividend Distribution Tax (refer section 115-O, IT Act 1961) on the same.

it is exempt as dividend distribution tax is already paid by the company declaring it
