I had dissolve Partneship Firm in November 2008 , I had submitted Surrender letter of PAN Card with Dissolustion Deed on 31.03.2010, and all ITR Return has been filed tiil A.Y.2009-10 but last week i have come to know Income Tax Database has been showing Partneship Firm PAN Number has been active , I have not recevied any Income Tax communication from Income TAX regarding these Firm but stiil if I have to do any other formalities ? or Whenever if i receive query from Income Tax Department in future then I have to show copy Surrender letter of PAN Card with Dissolustion Deed ?Kindly guide I am thankful to these forum and Expert for giving such good platform for query or doubt to solve the issue

yes please send the surrender letter of Pan card along with dissolution deed with the department letter. it seems that dept gas not yet cancelled the firms PAN.
if still not resolved then it's better to visit the department personally and discuss it with the concerned AO and get the PAN cancelled
