Disease covered under 80DD and 80DDB

Hi ,

My father ( Senior citizen ) having a health issue "TOTAL RETINAL DETACHMENT of LEFT EYE"  I Claimed it under section 80 DD , but due to non availability of Form 10 1A it was rejected  by internal taxation department  . after ward i tried to covered it under u/s 80DDB but we received the comment as -  TOTAL RETINAL DETACHMENT of LEFT EYE which is NOT prescribed in the list of Critical Illnesses for Tax Relief u/s 80DDB .

Now request to suggest , how i can convivence our Taxation team for tax relief under which section .
