Disbursement Amount

Loan is sanctioned after deducting margin. In your case if loan sanction is Rs 60000 then disbursement should be Rs 60000 not Rs 55000. And if loan disbursed is Rs 55000 then I hope loan sanction was RS 55000. Say a home loan to be taken. Property purchase price is Rs 100000. If 90% is financed then sanction amt will be Rs 90000 and here margin is Rs 10000 i.e. u have to arrrange from your own source. Bank will make DD in favour of seller.

 Disbursement amount is the actual amount paid to the borrower/or on his behalf to some other person   towards loan.

Say you want to purchase a house. Total cost of purchase is say 60,000/- This is cost of project.

Now if 10% of the same is to be conributed by the borrower then 10% of the cost of project i.e.6000/- is the margin amount.  Balance amount may be applied as a loan. Now if the Bank may disburse the full amount of Rs 54,000/- in one shot or this may be disbursed in instalments. So whatever amount is actually given to the borrower this is called disbursed amount.
