Directors' Report

we too come across various annual rpt and do draft lot of reports covered under Annual Report. I would like to know the view of the learned members on the period for which the data has to be covered under Directors Report. eg. changes in board of directors, etc example in case change has occured in May 08 and directors rpt is approved in June 2008,  will the period covers from 1st April 2007 to 31st March 08 or changes after that.  Similarly in case of corporate governance, there may be changes in composition of the committees etc.

Views solicited.

Normally the report covers the accounting period in detail. If there are any significant events, post financial year but before siginig date, that have a bearing on the company's performance for the current year, it will be necessary to inform the shareholders.
