My wife is working in one private bank. One friend is planning to set up a pvt company.
Pls advise if my wife can be one of the directors in that company without leaving the current job. Are there any issues..

She can be director of that company but only NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
Agree with the member.
Your wife can take the assignment as an ordinary director. Avoid the designation of Whole time Director.
One more imp thing--- also check the present job agreement with existing company for any kind of conditions.

The present agreement she cant take any postion for "Profit" .
She can take non-executive director or non whole time director. right? Where should this be mentioned ? in AOA or MOA ...or say in different forms 1, Form 32,18 etc?

Is there any limit on the share-holding of a non-executive director in case of a private limited company... I mean, can a person with more than 20% share-holding in the company become a non-executive director?
