Director Nominee of Share Holders Appointment in AGM

In my view, i dont think nominee directors require appointment in AGM.

Even if such Joint ventures when formed, does not require shareholders approval.

Its upto Board to appoint such director as nominee on board.

Other contrary views welcome.

Hello, 

Me 2 is of the same view. Nominee director is appint for some special purpose hold by both the parties. So, i dont think that he can be appointed only in GM. He can easliy be appoint in BM by consent of Board.
