final DT could be studied on ur own, u have to find a good book for it, i feel Direct tax lawas by T.N Manoharan to be best, until monoharan book came in it was Direct Tax Lawa be vinod k singaniya, how ever monoharan book will be easy to understand, you will have to read the latest case laws book too, as questions come directly from it, you can also refer icai materials All the best
