Dear Employers,

            Those who are facing problems while uploading Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) in epfindia.gov.in site may follow the under mentioned instructions/settings for verification of epf member’s details like KYC details/Online claims/Online name change requests etc.

IF YOU ARE GETTING JAVA ERROR WHILE UPLOADING DSC OR APPROVING KYC/ONLINE CLAIMS USING DSC

  1. INSTALL MOZILLA FIREFOX BROWSER(VERSION 48 OR BELOW).
  2. INSTALL LATEST JAVA FROM “https://www.java.com/en/download/”.
  3. ADD THE URL”https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/” IN “CONTROL PANEL->JAVA->SECURITY->EXCEPTION SITE LIST->ADD”

 

FOR PMRPY ADD THE URL

 

  1. https://pmrpy.gov.in/no-auth/viewLogin” IN “CONTROL PANEL->JAVA->SECURITY->EXCEPTION SITE LIST->ADD”
  2. IF THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST
  3. ADD THE URL WHERE JAVA APPLET IS NOT WORKING
  4. TO “CONTROL PANEL->JAVA->SECURITY->EDIT SITE LIST”

Hi, I am trying to approve the KYC of our employee in the new unified portal of EPFO. I go to Member > Approvals and click on the Approve button and have the digital signature (DSC token) available and connected. I got a popup of Digital signature window, and under which digital signature person details are not displayed for digitally signing the pdf" I have updated latest version of JAVA and firefox version 52.x then also the same problem is coming. few days back i visited PF office there they check the digital signature token which is working in their system, and we are using the same digital signature for other works like form16, and GST. Please help me regarding this.
Can someone please i from about who can issue digital signature certificates in India? Thanks for the help

A licensed Certifying Authority (CA) issues the digital signature. Certifying Authority (CA) means a person who has been granted a license to issue a digital signature certificate under Section 24 of the Indian IT-Act 2000.
