Difference in tds deducted and 26as details

Okk but banks will also deduct the amount .So should i bring to banks concern?Or TDs deposit  to govt via bank is still pending?

First you approach the bank explaining the possible reasons. They will file correction return then only you will get credit in 26AS. Going to the IT Dept. with certificate is of no use.

If banks does not co-operate you can approach the ombudsman.

Dear,wait for March qtr TDS return,If your TDS doesn't mach with 26 AS.Then Meet the Banker ,They will revise the return.This happens

Wait for few days. Bank may not have filed E-return so 26AS is not updated accordingly. You have enough time to file your return i.e. 31st July 2012.

Its better to wait for the bank to correct its position.

You may still go ahead taking Form 16A as the proof, though you will get deduction as per 26AS only.

wait till bank file tds return.if u file now u will get notice from income tax department.
