wow....i read all the comments on ur post.....it's surprising to c tht so many ppl have entered into C.A. by a suuden choice or change of mind.......

talking abt myself - i hv always wanted to be a C.A. .....i got 89.4% in cls X n ws suggested by my principal to go for the science stream......n also by my relatives.........bt i ws always so sure abt my dream career......bt ya, hd it been possible alongwith C.A., i wd hv definitely been 1)journalist, 2)pilot, 3)interior designer ....coz i love these three professions too......btw, 3rd one is still posb....he he

I am not from Delhi or any metro City .In my family nobody know about CA course .I heard from one of my Friend about CA When i was in 12th then i decide to do CA after that but due to poor financial condition and some responsibility of family i could not enter in CA course.i always think that i cant do CA in my life due to my Family responsibilty. Then i start my Job and completed my B.com and MBA in finance with my job.After MBA i feel confidence and take decision i will do CA,It was like a achievement for me to enter in CA course.

Now i am also doing CS and i got exemption in one subject on behalf of MBA.Its all by luck

Everthing is in hand of God he always tell us we are nothing.

congratulations buddy, good to kno ur on the track...do well..tho not everything is in the hands of GOD, if u believe in urself, then God puts you on the right track and guides you along the path. through good perseverance you will succeed. luck and hard work should both go hand in hand..best luck dude for ur future endeavors. 

Well 4 me too joining this course is not a planned option.I like this post bcoz i too very often question myself whether i really want to become a ca or not. My story seems to be slightly different bcoz i too like most people in my school years used to think of becoming a doctor but later after passing 10 got an interest in commerce and finally by my friends challenge that i cant become a ca, enter in this profeession. Now m a ca final student, still unable 2 recognise that do i really want 2 become a chartered accountant or just my destiny took me there.

Still a hidden mystry 4 me.But now becoming a ca means a lot 4 me, bcoz my and my family desires are attached 2 it.

But still in nutshell i can say Life is truly unpredictable and full of surprises.

I am a science student,, took up MPC with biology in class 11th.. after scoring 93 % in 12 th std, i was thinkin of pursuing engineering.. but then bad luck , i could not make it up to the mark for entrance examinations.. by my uncles advice took up CA, ( all of a sudden, never thought, it was ofcourse a over night decision , still i remember that day !! ) Debits and credits????? wat s that??? was my situation,,,

but then learnt the basics from scratch, cleared pe 1 in second attempt, Pe 2  first grp in first attempt, second group in 2 nd attempt..... now waiting for CA Final Results...

Never , never thought i ll go in this line.. Sometimes it happens in life... But  i am feelin very very proud for havin taken up one of the prestigious course !! :)

In our chilhood days, we wanted to become Doctor.....but in presents days we try our best to become doctor to handle financial and taxation releated diseases..

I hd not planned 2 become a CA. like many others I was aimless. bt I was good at studies. when I joined PE-1 I was unaware of the full form of CA. 1 of my frnd suggested me 2 join this course. nw she has left this profession, bt 4 me it has become my everything, my destiny.

I wanted to become Journalist or something related to media. But that was not all i wanted to be inm this life..i wanted to do something else, So i took CS and also tried my hand in media related profession while doin CS and finally came back to CS profession but in media related company!! Though these two profesions are not related at all, i have managed to merge them and serve my passion for both!!

well i alwayz wanted to be a archeologist from my school days bt my parents werent allowing me to do such things.....

even after my 12th std exams... i wasnt knowing tht my mom gt me enrolled me for ca course exam and also gt me registered for ca classes...

i cleared my cpt in 1st attempt and ipcc in second attempt...

now as m in final... i still hav the desire to be a archeologist.....

bt my parents are askin me to be a CA first dan do anything i want to do...!!!!

well even after me becuming ca ill be alwayzs tryin to be ARCHEOLOGIST...!!!!!

Ya u r correct hardly any1 thought of it............ i also never thought of doing CA.......

had lots of dreams but ended up wid doing CA...............

now CA is destiny no1 can change it.............

So all of us doing CA our Destiny is dis toh i thnk no use of hnkng about other vch v planned frm our childhood................

first of all i want to thank you for submitting such a nice article........

when i cleared 12th i was thinking now what i have to do and after sometime someone told me to give CA & CS and i just give it and i was not sure that i will pass it or not and luckily  i got passed and after passing cpt it becomes my aim to become CA    

so i have never thought about it it just happen by chance........
