Deduction of Housing Loan Repayment

Housing loan is taken by the assessee but the House is registered in the name of his father. Whether deduction of Housing loan pricipal and interest payment is available to the assessee?

How assessee got home loan ? , when no House 🏠 in his name. I am not getting your point so Please elaborate in detail .

New house is being purchased by the assessee but the registering the same in the name of his father. loan is taken by the assessee on mortgage of the same house.
