i would like to know if it is accepted according to companies act 2013 to take cash for selling shares of a private limited company.if accepted is there any limit?

i am not asking regarding private placement of a company.
i would like to know if a person can sell equity shares of a private limited company to another person and receive the sale amount in cash?if yes what is the limit for the amount?
