Dear Friends
If any of you have downloaded TDS Java RPU utililiy 1.3 from TIN website, then i am facing the following problem:
i am not able to open TDS_RPU file.
when i doble click on it nothing happens.
I am able to open TDS_STANDALONE_FVU_2.144 and TDS_STANDALONE_FVU_4.8 files.
I have Java 8 Update 80 JRE installed on my computer.
please help me

Please download the file (fresh). Unzip the files to a folder. In the folder please double click TDS_RPU.JAR file. This should open the utility. Java 8 update could also give trouble. Java 7 is enough.

i uninstalled java 8 update 60 and installed java 8 update 25
now its working

The e TDS RPU works specifically between Java 6 Update 29 to Java 8 Update 51

Yes - Right - NSDL people do not give correct solutions for the problems faced by the deductors. If you call them over phone also they do not support properly. A similar situation exists in tdscpc. We have to keep with that

NSDL RPU Java ver 1.3 is now working after installing java 8. NSDL people now corrected the utility. I have downloaded on 12-10-2015 and now it is working in jre ver. 8 also.
But NSDL RPU java based versions are not easy to operate. Its columns widtth are so long that each time column widtths have to be reduced and on again opening the saved file these widtth size again found expanded so long.
This java based utility is not user friendly as other VB based utilities were.
I could not understand why NSDL stopped VB based utilities.
They should work more on java based utility to make it user friendly.
