No, mr. Surajit, since you have in FY 2012-13 for both the employees & u have received such money as gratuity also in the same year i.e. on FY 2012-13. So u r not eligible for any relief. Because, Relief U/s 89(1) is applicable when u received some arrear money of preceeding yr in current previous yr.

Then also No...because you have already received the money in FY 2012-13 which is chargeable in AY 2013-14....not in 2014-15. But, if u received any sum for FY 2012-13 or for any other preceeding previous year then u can avail relief U/s 89(1).

ok...that means I can avail any sort of tax relief under that section at any time period. M I right....???

Sorry Mr. Surajit, i am not getting ur point, ...... Sec 89(1) is concerned with that ...that if u received any sum of money for any immediately preceeding previous year in any suceeding financial or previous yr....then u can avail relief u/s 89(1) in the next yr...i.e. in the assessment of the previous yr in which u have received such money...understandable ...if not do 1 thing send me a P.M. mentioning with ur phone number...i will call u
