Hello Friends and Respected Seniors,

I applied for the certified copy of Advanced Management Accounting (Paper-5) of CA Final May-2012 attempt. Though I cleared my 2nd group but I am very unsatisfied with my marks in this paper. I got mere 40 when I expected atleast 55 in it.

On receiving my certified copy, I am shocked to see that in one of the question (i.e Q-3(a)) which carried 8 marks I have been awarded 0 though my answer is same as that solved by Padhuka Publications. Though my answer is different from the suggested answers published by ICAI but I am sure my solution is also one of the alternative answer to the said question and I deserve 8 out of 8 for this question. I am attaching the scanned copy of the certified copy here.

It's my earnest request to experts and teachers to verify my answer and let me know if I am wrong.

Dont know about marks but it doesn't deserves 0 as m not qualified to award marks..pls icai don't play like this..

its a compressed file like zip file,use WIN RAR for opening this

You shall not under any circumstances part with the custody/possession of the copies of your evaluated answer book and shall not use the same for any other purpose/s other than for your own academic guidance.

I am not parting with the certified copies. I just shared the scanned copies of 2 pages out of it and that too for seeking academic guidance from experts here.

I found some serious error in my paper correction and ICAI says nothing can be done on the basis of the certified copies. So what should I do???

Answer correct, But a slight error in presentation. I feel you should deserve 5-6 marks

I agree with Shrikant but I appreciate Ashish. If someone cant claim against the certified copies then what is the use of certified copies? just xeroxed sheets to check ?.. no man, its worst rule made by authority to not to claim anything on the basis of certified copies. U deserve it ashish, i ll say that u go to ur regional branch and discuss tha matter, might be thay do something.
