Please tell me if i can use a 14 digit calculator for IPCC Nov. exam??.. My old calculator was 12 digit but its broken now and i bought a similar calcy but it has 14 digits and no tax button.. model number is CT-8814V and the old calculator was CT-8855V .. They have stopped making the old model(with 12 digits) and now we have only 14 digits calculator in shops... i am pasting a link of picture of both calculators.. problem is i don't want to buy a different calcy since my exam is near..

they never check how many digit calculator u have,, read guidelines comes alongwith admit card to check anything contrary

I have seen the attached Picture, & be sure you can use either of which you want,

29. Students are allowed to use battery operated portable calculators in all the subjects. The calculators can be of any type with up to 6 functions, 12 digits and up to two memories. (Attempt to use any other type of calculators not complying with the specifications indicated above or having more features than mentioned above shall tantamount to use of "unfair means"

12 digit only

I too have the same one, but I have the 12 digit version, thats good, but since you say that they have stopped mfg the old ones, go for some other model which is 12 digit

PLEASE DONT TAKE RISK PURCHASE A NEW 12 DIGIT CALCULATOR.

buy 12 digits calci....usualy they do not check it depends on the examination centre & supervisor

go for 12 digit ....

because my calci was even questioned as it was little different from other's calci ...

even though I was able to convince that it has no special feature for which it's use need to be prohibited...

so if u ever face any such situation it will  waste your 5-7 minutes ....and you already know the cost of every minute in exam hall.

good luck
