If the employee purchased the laptop and half of the amount is reimbursed by employer. whether that employer can treat it as company property and Accordingly claim depreciation?

If the bill is employee name then no....

if the bill raised in the name of employee depreciation can't  claimed by the company becasue employee is the owner .

then the reimbursed amount can be claim as expense by company?

As per my view., The Laptop is employee name and it's not on company. The amount is refundable then no more questions. But, not... It's treated as Gift... Company can't avail it's reimbursement.
amount is refundable means?
@ raja

refundable means recoverable.

some time employer will recover money in installments from employee. (deduct from monthly salary before payment)

that's not in my case @ satish
