DEPB and CT1

We are manufacturer-exporters and are not registered under Excise as our turnover is below the limit. We are exporting our goods under DEPB. Our suppliers of raw material are excise registered and are charging us excise duty.

Now, we have come to know that goods can be purchased from our suppliers without payment of Excise by giving CT1 form or an Undertaking. Is it possible to do that and still export under DEPB ? What is the procedure ?

Your reply will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply but I want to add here that we manufacture Ball Valves and purchase Castings or Forgings. This notification does not apply to our products. Our company is also not an EOU. In such a situation, can we take advantage of purchase without Excise and take benefit of DEPB?
