shall i claim 60% depreciation on Head phone?  is it correct?

No you cant you have to treat it as office equipment.

had you charged it as an asset ???

 

why dont you expensed that...

 

and if you had charged it with the mobile itself, then charge depreciation on mobile na...

suppose company purchase 100 computer along with head phones cost rs computer25000+headphone5000, computers including computer software but they did not mentioned particularly headphones have not eligible for depreciation in depreciation table, that means it will be included, why we cannot claim the depreciation for headphones?

 

Head phones are eligible for depreciation under office equipments at the applicable rate. It cannot be claimed as computers as it is not indespensible for working of a computer. Thus same cannot be teamed with computers even though you are using it with conputers.
