Demat Acount

  i also want to knw this. i.e. Can a person have more than one demat account?

 with best of my knowledge only one damat is allowed but u can have more than one trading accounts . Demat is link with your trading account and it is operated by NSDL. 

Demat account is similar like your SB Bank Account... Since, you can open SB A/c with more than one Bank, Same is Demat... u can open different Demat accounts with more than one DP participant... Like (ICICI direct, KARVY etc)

Dear Friend,

There are no restriction for demat a/c open,  so You can open more Demat..

as like SB bank account.
