Demand raised for the ay 2011-2012
CPC has raised a demand for AY2011-2012 and then transferred the matter to AO. and they have withheld my AY2013-2014 refund which I was suppose to get that year. After contacting the AO, they have cleared the Demand raised previously but now I am not getting back my refund back which they have withheld. Can some one please guide me to get back the refund amount.

Kindly file a grievance at Income Tax Portal
make compliance for 11-12 demand it will clear the backlog of the system

Whats the procedure for this. I talk to AO Office last week, they have given me a printout which says that there is no demand now for 2011-2012 and they have not withheld the refund amount it was CPC. But when I am contacting CPC, they are saying that AO needs to update the CPC and they needs to release this Refund amount.
