Return for AY 2017-18 filed manually in June 18, claiming refund of tax. The asst order has still not been received despite a reminder to the concerned ITO. But asst order for the next AY 2018-19 (online filing) recd granting refund. Further course of action may be indicated.

Though you have filed manually ITR for AY 2017-2018, it is uploaded in so far as status of processing is concerned. Just check on eFiling portal and know the status. You may use eGrievance tab also

It seems that you have filed Return Of income beyond the time limit allowed under income tax act. so your return might have been treated as non-est I. e. as if you have not filed your ITR.. so the ITR will not be processed unless the delay is condoned by jurisdictional CIT under section 119(2)(b)

Filed my return well before the due date of 31-8-18.

Refund return is accepted offline only in case of super senior citizen
if u have filed offline return no refund will be grantrd

I am 80 + already. That is why I filed the return offline.

Sir if it's a. Y. 2017-18,the last date for filing ITR is 31/03/2018 sir... Since you are very senior citizen, you are allowed to file manual return however if it's beyond time limit, it'll be treated as non-est

Filed the return for AY 2017-18 on 21-6-18, well before the due date of 31-8-18. I completed 80 years in Jan 2017 and that is why I filed the return offline. I would like to know the time allowed for the a.o.to complete the asst for the above year.
