What do you mean by pecuniary Benefit?
is it just mutual benefit or mutual economic benefit?
And as per definition of Business, does any activity done not for an economic benefit, mean it is a business?

pecuniary benefit means related to and consisting of money. There should be economic benefit for constituting any activity a business under GST.

but the definition says whether or not done for a pecuniary Benefit
General meaning of pecuniary
General meaning of pecuniary is Related to or consisting of money.. so in the def. of business the word is 'whether or not pecuniary' so i it is trying to say whether in money or other form like exchange.. but for constituting business
under GST i think it should have some econimical activity.. may be there will be some clarification from department in future in this regard.. and the answer is divided because i m texting from mobile so sent text in half way by mistake
