yes, The Depptt. can hold the refund.

The only way is to rectify the defect so stated and file rectified return to claim refund, but you should have been issued a notice for correcting the defect in the return.
i hope u should wait for sm tym as it gets automatically credited...
assessment done na... so y worry.. just wait n watch for 15 days.
