Medical Insurance Paid for 2 yrs ( for availing discount ) .Premium is Rs19000 for each year .He paid Rs 35340 (38000 less 7 % Discount ) at a time for 2 years. My question is that can he claim 19000 each year i.e for 15-16 and 16-17 ? or the discounted premium he can claim only?

He can claim deduction only for actual amount paid i.e Rs 35,340.
Hi anurag thanks for the reply . can he claim entire Rs35340 in the AY 15-16 itself .or He has to claim in next AY also ?
