Deduction U/S 80D

Breakup of premium is required i.e premium paid of (You+Wife) and of parents.

I think we should know the amount of premium paid for parents and rest of the family members separately.

its complicated and CBDT should issue a clarification if there's is no provision regarding this!!!

    Ded. U/s 80D in respect of Medical/Health Insurance Premia

1. For Self, Spouse & depended Children....................................................15,000   :
2. For Parents...........................................................................................15,000   :
3. Additional Benefits (If Senior Citizen) for (1) & (2) - Rs.5000/- each........10,000   : 

Breakup of premium is required because there is a separate deduction for

1)self/wife/children

2) parents
