Deduction of hra and housing loan int.

Can i get deduction of housing loan interest if i am living in rented house and also get HRA Can i claim both deduction in my itr

If you are living in your own house you cannot claim hra.
if you are staying in a rented house you can claim hra.
in case you hv taken loan you can claim deduction for housing loan.

If you are living in the same city, in which you have your own house, you cannot claim HRA....

House is under-construction

If the house is under construction, you can claim HRA, but the interest on housing loan under pre-construction period, can be claimed only after completion of the house.
