Deduction from 80 c

Hi, I have claimed HRA deduction in my company and it is approved for FY 2011-12,  Now i got the form 16, And i bought the flat in August 2011 and still it is under construction,  I forgot to declare stampduty in my company. Am i eligible to claim stamp duty from Sec 80C.

Yes you can claim the stamp duty while filing your return of income & claim refund of any excess tax paid.
