Should I mention in my income tax return about self occuppied house bought through NRE a/c? My residential status is NOT ORDINARILY RESIDENT (I returned to India 2015 July). I filed the return for AY 2015 -16 & 2016-17 and have not mentioned in the return about the self occupied property bought through NRE a/c. Now I am planning to sell the property.
Please advise accordingly.
