DEC, 2010 CPT PLZ REPLY ?????

Hello everyone can any one tell me that whether i can got my self register for CA course to appear in Dec ,2010 now or not ??? i think the last date for registeration for DEC, CPT is 30 sep, 2010 ???

if yes, then if i will register now then in what period of time i will get my registeration letter etc as the exam forms for CPT are out in the first week of october,10 then if i will not get the reisteration details before the last date for submission of exam form for DEC,10 CPT. then how can i fill in the exam form to submit it for the dec CPT. ???

I enquired about this by calling CPT department but they only tell that the last date for DEC CPT exam registeration being 30 sep, 10 and exam forms will be out in 1st week of october and then put down the call.

pls reply me soon friends. i am waiting for your kind replies........

DONT WORRY FREIND YOU CAN GET REGISTRATION P TO 30SEPTEMBER.FROM OCT 6th ONLY THE EXAMINATION APPLICATION ISSUEING STARTS IT WILL CONTINUE UP TO 26th OCT OK.YOU GET REGISTRATION AND AFTER ONE WEEK YOU CAN CALL TO INSITUTE AND GET YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER.AND ATTEND THE EXAM BEST OF LUCK

Thanks very much sir that means i can register before 30 sep to become eligible for dec CPT and in the exam form while filling registeration details i can make a call to the institute within a week to get registeration details. RIGHT ???

So, can u tell me within what period they send to me my reg'n letter and all such details..

and lastly can i submit the reg'n form that i have downloaded from ICAI website or i have to buy a prospectus to get the reg'n form. if i can do the former thing then how much amount draft is required to be made ???

hey..u r wrong....u cant write the exam since you dint register with ICAI..ur frind is talking abt the date of exam registration and not the course registration..

CPT EXAM SESSIONS

Common Proficiency Test ( Paper- Pencil Mode) will be held on Sunday, 19th December

First Session

(i.e. Morning Session)

10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)

Section – A Fundamentals of Accounting

Section – B Mercantile Laws

Second Session

(i.e. Afternoon Session)

2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)

Section – C General Economics

Section – D Quantitative Aptitude

Exam Fee :

Exam fee for those who write in exam centres of India will need to pay RS 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of application form and Information brochure) .

Exam fee for those who write in Abu Dhabi , Dubai, Doha and Bahrain centres will be US $160 ( US $ 150 towards examination fee and US $ 10 towards cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent Indian currency.

The fee for the candidates opting for Kathmandu centre are required to remit INR.950/-( INR 850/- towards examination fee and INR 100/- towards the cost of application form.

Exam forms will be available from October 6^th,2010.

Last date to submit exam forms 27^th October 2010

For Online Submission :

Alternatively the candidate may fill up the examination application form online at https://icaiexam.icai.org from 6th October ,2010 ( 10:00 hrs) to 27th October ,2010 ( 17:30hrs) and remit the fee online by using credit card, either VISA or Master Card.

Eligible candidates to write December 19,2010 CPT Exam are those who are registered for CA CPT on or Before October 1,2010.

its correct you hv 2 register first wid insti n then they will veryfy after dat you will receive letter of registration and then you will become eligible for exam...best luck!!
