I want to ask that what will be date for doing Indexation while calculating capital gains,
If
The land was purchased in 01/04/1995 , all formalities done but the registery of the land purchased was done in 2011.
Please answer

It depands upon Sale Agreement, If All Formalities done including Sale Agreement Then The date for Indexation will be considered 01/04/1995.

Then The Date for Indexation Will be Considered as The Date of Sale Agreement Approved or Signed by The Both Parties.
