Importer (also the end user) has imported some goods wherein custom duty was paid. The goods will be sent out for job work in a different state wherein excise will be applicable.

Will the Job worker be able to avail the credit of CVD against Excise? If yes what wd be the process?

Importer has no excise registration/sales tax registration.

wel ur que is nt clear to me....do u want to take credit of CVD against exicese duty which u r gng to pay at certain level in future coz of applicability of excise in d diff state in which ur job work is in under process......ifff sooo...

den first u hv to register urself under excise....n excise tax is levied on manufacturing...if u r using tht imported material in manufacturing den only u cn take credit of CVD against excise......
