Customs duty gst : input credit

Hi All,

I import goods from china in small quantities and sell in india. I pay Chinese sellers through my indian bank debit card. When I contact my bank regarding this they said they will file Bill Of Entry only when paid through WIRE transfer. not through debit card or any other means

In this case can I claim GST paid in Bill Of Entry while filing monthly returns under Import Goods head?

Dear Devendra.

If you file the Bill of Entry for clearnce of your Imported goods from Indian Customs you can claim IGST paid at the time of clearance of the goods from Indian Customs.

Dear Malay, Thanks for your clarification. Yes we file and get bill of entry for clearing imported goods. So, mode of payment is not an issue.

In claiming IGST mode of payment is no issue.Issue is IGST payment like you pay IGST and claim for the same if you donot opay IGST you can not claim for the same.Through which mide you are paying price to the supplier is not an issue.
